Tanque Verde Falls
This canyon is a great introduction to the canyons around Tucson. It often has running water. Great on warmer days when you can swim. The water is avoidable most of the time. It’s beginner friendly. Guide ratio is 6:1.
- Trips run 3-5 hours long
- It involves 3 miles of hiking, 4 rappels (the tallest is 90’), and a 400’ elevation gain to get back to the car
- No one under 8 years old
- Clients need to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, hiking shoes, and a backpack. We may be able to provide a backpack if needed
- Morning and afternoon start times
- Transportation available on a limited basis
