The Black Canyon in western Colorado has a long-standing reputation for commiting, long adventure routes. While there are plenty of these climbs in the canyon, there are also some of the most classic routes that you can find in the western United States.

Arizona Climbing Guides offers 3 to 5 day long trips, as well as custom 1 day adventures designed to take you deeper into the canyon. It is possible to climb a longer grade IV or V route if it is deemed an appropriate goal on one of the longer trip options. Plan for an additional day for a rest day as part of the 3 or 5 day trips.
