Trip615764November 4, 2024Verified Rock Rappelling with the best The views were amazing. The photos taken were great. TJ our guide was awesome. He was on time and very professional. TJ was very confident and calm which encouraged my wife and myself. We are in our 60s. Recommend this great trip and memory to anyone. Young or old or in between. We are planning on doing a half day event in the future. Thx again TJ you and your services were great.Sincerely Paul and Renee Mix LisaOctober 30, 2024Verified ACG Provided a Perfect Personalized Experience! I went on two half-day adventures with Arizona Climbing Guides. On the first day, we went rock climbing, and on the second day, we went repelling. I have never tried either but always wanted to do so. Javen was my guide on both days. He reached out prior to the appointments to go over details and meeting place. He is highly experienced and a very good teacher. He explained everything in detail and was always safety conscious. He provided a helmet and climbing shoes for me to use. With Javen’s coaching and encouragement, I was able to climb to the top of a rock face and repel down multiple drops. Both days were at Windy Point on Mt Lemmon. He was very accommodating and wanted me to do what I wanted and enjoy doing it. By learning about rock climbing first, it was helpful when climbing back up after repelling. I’m 62 and found some of the climbs back to the top challenging, but Javen took it slow and never minded me taking a break. He was always there, ready to offer a hand when needed. Javen was the perfect guide! He even knew about the plant life and took photos! Liam MOctober 7, 2024Verified Highly, highly recommend. Absolutely incredible time. Myself and 3 friends, (all beginners), climbed in the Granite Dells right outside of Prescott. Climbing guide Jayci made us all feel super comfortable and trusting that we weren't going to get hurt, while still pushing us past our comfort zones and challenging us to climb routes we weren't even sure we could do ourselves. He was super calm and patient while we fumbled and slipped and tried to find our footing - it made the experience less stressful and quite fun! Cindy CAugust 24, 2024Verified Family adventure Enjoyed our first rappelling experience! Javan was an excellent guide, he was very knowledgeable and patient. Recommend bringing gloves. Kristen MJuly 15, 2024Verified The best experience for a first time outdoor climber! My niece and I booked the half day rock climbing trip with Arizona Climbing Guides. Our guide was Javan, and he was absolutely amazing. Not only was he very patient with us first timers, but he gave us technical explanations for why he did everything and placed safety first. My niece and I had an absolute blast and we cannot wait to book another trip! John MApril 4, 2024Verified Don’t miss this one! This trip was amazing from the very beginning. Javan made every effort to make us feel at ease and just enjoy the experience. The views were breathtaking, the repelling spectacular, and the bouldering and scrambling was just so fun. Highly recommend!!!! Nikki VApril 1, 2024Verified Fun for the whole family We did the four hour climbing trip in Prescott with Chris as a guide. Our family of six had a great time! Kids ranging from age 9-18 all loved it and so did we! It was a perfectly challenging, fun activity and a great first climbing experience. ANAICMarch 29, 2024Verified In Javan We Trust Wonderful adventures for my family! We booked both canyoneering and rock climbing for two separate days of our vacation. We have a 15 year old and 8 year old, and our guide Javan was excellent with them both. He advised us well as to switching our canyoneering and rock climbing days due to weather, and we even turned our canyoneering into another fabulous rock climbing adventure based on his honest description of the challenges, especially with a younger kid. Anita NMarch 25, 2024Verified Highly recommend Our guide Javan was wonderful and adaptable. Our family of four (boys aged 12 and 15 and 50ish Mom and Dad) had a great time climbing at Saguaro NP. Javan came up with a plan after rain prevented our canyoning trip and snow prevented accessing Mt Lemmon. We still ended up with a great day. Thank you Javan! Brianna WMarch 20, 2024Verified Tons of fun! Jacyi was an amazing guide! He was very encouraging for us first timers but was taught basic technique of rappelling. Highly recommend, the first few steps are scary but then its nothing but fun!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Bryan NiedermanNovember 16, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ACG and especially my guide, Nate, was the ABSOLUTE BEST! Not only did he challenge me, but he was super supportive, knowledgeable, and an extremely stellar human. The McDowell mountains were insane, adrenaline-pumping, and heart-bumping! Nate shared some of his favorite spots with me and I couldn't be more grateful. Highly recommended! John LunaNovember 11, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went to the Granite Dells for an Intro to Rock Climbing with TJ. It was an awesome 8 hour day and hit around 13 routes. He let me challenge myself on harder grades and point out different holds if I didn’t see them. Highly recommend TJ if you want to learn a lot and hit a bunch of routes/grades to really test yourself!
